What Brought Us Together

Independent Artist Inc partnered with Indra Project to breathe life into their Garden Studio space — a full-service media production studio in Dallas — and expand public awareness of the venue’s potential as a creative hub. The goal was to create an immersive, community-focused event that could be documented and repurposed for future marketing, while offering something unforgettable to attendees.

We responded with The Ritual — an intimate full moon gathering centered on music, art, and presence. Designed to spark connection and consistency within our creative community, this experience was the first in an ongoing series that redefines how people show up for each other in real life.

The Experience Unfolded

Held on March 14 during the full blood moon, The Ritual welcomed 30 guests into a curated evening of live music, visual art, and shared energy. Local band Safari Pike headlined the experience, filling the space with genre-defying sound that blended jazz, funk, and alternative soul.

At the heart of the space hung a new immersive installation titled “Indra’s Net” — a 30-foot suspended textile structure created by Indra Project founder Tyra J. The piece spanned the ceiling with layered fabrics, brought to life by a custom lighting design that cast depth, shadow, and movement throughout the room. Guests were invited to write personal reflections on small notes and tie them to the fabric — transforming the sculpture into a living archive of the moment.

Together, the music, installation, and atmosphere created a grounded, emotionally resonant experience designed not just to impress — but to connect.

Our Role in the Magic

• Concept & Experience Design — Developed the vision and full programming flow, aligning brand storytelling with a meaningful guest experience.

• Art Direction & Installation — Created a site-specific sculptural installation and lighting concept tailored to the space and event theme.

• Talent Booking & Curation — Selected and coordinated live performance by Safari Pike to align with the tone and scale of the experience.

• Production & Media Capture — Oversaw event production and captured visual content for use in future marketing campaigns.

• Community Engagement — Curated an intentional guest list and experience design that emphasized presence, reflection, and connection.
